until we dug and found these rocks
hogging up the dirt.

so we bought new trees.
pretty flowers that remind me of my mom.
because they are purple and yellow.
the colors of her wedding.
and i took pictures
just in case they die too.
to remind me that they were once alive.

Our soil is like amazing times a million. Why trees don't thrive in ROCKS is beyond me...
