i woke up grumpy the other day. sometimes when i'm grumpy i feel like breaking rules. which for me usually just means something like:
not clearing my tray at mcdonalds or
not taking turns when merging onto the freeway (cause i live on the edge like that)
this day i had to order lunch for the executives for a lunch meeting. but you know, one of them has a nut allergy, one of them has a cheese allergy. two of them are vegetarians. and one won't eat from jason's deli cause it's made him sick the last 4 times he's eaten there. blah, blah, blah. this was only adding to my wanting to get nuts, add cheese, order everything with extra pastrami from none other than- jason's deli.
but, i didn't. however, i was late getting lunch. so, i was totally breaking the law. i had been texting at a stoplight and i was speeding on my way down the hill to make up for lost time. just as i was thinking now is probably not the time to be breaking any rules, i look up to see cop boy on his harley pointing his laser gun right at me. GRRRRRR.
but wait, he does me a favor and writes the ticket for only 9 over instead of 15. (i was doing 50 in a 35.) he hands me the ticket and i say "thank you, i think?"
cause i'm nice like that and i've decided i suck at breaking the rules cause truth be known, i could never leave my trash for some poor worker at mcdonalds, i used to be one of them mcdonalds worker people. and i am a commuter, so i wait my turn.
as for that cop . . . i know where he hides now. phft.
