we all have needs

at parent teacher conference last week, burke had been asked to write a persuasive letter to give to us when we met.  brady and i laughed as we read it.  i love this little girl.

dear mom and dad,

i need my own room.  i need my own room for many reasons.

there's no point in sharing a room with brooklyn because she always sneaks into your room at night.  so when she and i are fighting or have to sit on our beds we won't talk or continue fighting and get into more trouble.  if we get in more trouble we will blame it on each other.

i could put my toys in my room and so can everyone else so we can have more room.  so if hadley, lia and savannah or any other kids come over to play inside, they won't touch braden or baylor's old toys so they won't blame it on me.

if we switch rooms then you mom can have a bigger scrapbook room, which is the bonus room/the boy's old room.  if we put dads office in there too then we will have enough room for me to have my own room.  i'll stay out of the scrapbook room so i won't make a mess because i will have a room to myself.

sincerely,

berkeley

Genius letter.

Tegan just asked for Legos.

I wasn't persuaded. Were you? I'd be moving furniture right now. That's adorable!

She makes some compelling arguments. She should probably have her own car too.
