we have lived here for over a year now and my garage still looks like we just moved in. the issue is not having what we need to organize . . . i mean, we have the workbenches, the hooks, the shelving, the cabinets, etc. it's all in the house. downstairs.
in my basement.
speaking of my basement, that is a whole other area in desperate need of some tlc, ocd or a match. there just aren't enough hours in my day. but after tripping over strollers, bikes, big wheels, balls, scooters, skateboards, wagons and heely's . . . i decided THIS was the weekend.
and we got 4 whole cabinets hung.
i say we. i mean brady. but i told him where to hang them. we would have hung more if he didn't have to do the ritual. you know, of moving something else we had decided on a place for first. like that perfect little row of black hooks that had to be lowered 6 inches so i could reach the top shelf in those 4 cabinets. enough said.
so, the rest of the garage still looks like toys r us threw up everything outdoor! but i got 4 cabinets. and slowly but surely we are making progress. who knew 4 cabinets lined up like soldiers in my garage would make me so happy?
it's called ocd. at least i can admit it.

They look great! I know the feeling of getting organized. Lately all I want to do is get rid of stuff. That could be due to our only storage room recently being converted to a bathroom and now everything has been thrown into various places in the basement. Thank goodness for the option of adding-on to our basement! It just doesn't feel right until everything has it's place.
