the other night i was standing outside when this poor little bird came swooping into the open garage and tried to escape out of a closed window. (which is beyond me seems the entire window is covered in dirt) but anyway, he hit the window and then the floor. it was actually kind of funny until i realized he might be hurt. so, brady ran to his rescue while i ran for the camera. he was in the corner unable to fly away. brady held on to him long enough for me to snap a couple shots. show the kids. and pet him on his little head a few times. i think he was just stunned a little because he did eventually fly away. hopefully home and not just away from us to die a little birdie death.

we have birds fly into our back porch windows all the time, and it is equally confusing to me because those doors are covered in my children's hand prints on a consistent basis. I just figure they are special birds with limited eyesight.
we all lose our way from time to time.. and need to bump into caring people like you and Brady.. to dust us off.. give us love and send us on our way.. I am so grateful to God that our lives crossed paths.. "I Have Missed You"
Awe, he is so cute. There was this one time where my sister and brother were driving somewhere in the car. This was probably 7 or 8 years ago, but they had the windows down and my sister had this feeling like she should roll up the windows but didn't know why. Right as she rolled them up this bird came flying right into the window of the passenger seat where my brother was sitting. It was sad that the bird ran into the window but it was one of those instances where you wonder what would have happened if my sister didn't listen to the spirit and roll up the window.
